I’ve always has a fascination about chemistry. Some people like biology, others physics and others medicine. Follow your own path of interests and see where it takes you.

Iโ€™m a terrible chemist and worse mathematician.. that left biology! Joking aside, I find life fascinating, so thatโ€™s what I followed

I want to study physics because the topic helps me best understand how our current universe comes to be. Physics to me is more “fundamental” than biology or chemistry. Basically, life (Biology) is controlled by chemical reactions (Chemistry), but the reactions are controlled by physical forces (Physics). The goal of physics (currently) is to find the one simple theory that can explain everything in our universe, and this search is really meaningful and inspiring to me. ๐Ÿ™‚

I enjoyed chemistry most at school and seemed to do slightly better at it than biology or physics. When I got to uni and discovered forensics though, that’s when I realised this was the specialism for me. It is the most perfect combination of analytical chemistry (toxicology), physics (ballistics and collision analysis), biochemistry, anthropology, biology, physiology, and statistics, and all set within a legal context. Ticks all the boxes for me ๐Ÿ™‚
