      Well Darmstadtium is in group 10 of the periodic table so my first answer would be “not a lot!” but like a group 6 element, it is still in the transition metal block, or “d” block as it’s also called. This means that it has electrons occupying the “d-orbital” – google it and look at the pretty patterns!

      Darmstadtium is in the same group as Nickel, Palladium and Platinum (my favourite metal!), but because it is a synthetic element made in a lab and highly radioactive, I wouldn’t have thought it has much in common with the naturally occurring metals in its group.
