      Pathology is the study of disease – what causes it, how it happens and how to help treat it.
      In your local hospital pathology is divided into three: microbiology (all the infectious diseases); blood sciences (chemistry, diseases of the blood) and cellular pathology (anything involving body tissues, mostly cancer).
