• Question: If there was no gravity, could I just float to space or would something stop me ?

      If there was no gravity, you would just float. Something would have to move you or hit you, then you would toddle off is the other direction. Have a look at some stuff by astronaut Tim Peake!

      If there is no gravity, you would float about in space. If you move in any direction though, you would not be able to stop until something else crashes into you. This is Newton’s 1st law of motion – any object in motion will stay in motion unless another force acts on it.

      My gut reaction is yes, you would just float away from the earth but I’m not sure whether or not the ozone layer would stop you?
