• Question: Why do we think and hear our own thoughts even though we aren't speaking?

      I believe we do. I often have complete conversations in my head – even arguments. Hopefully that isn’t a sign of madness.

      Because your brain is the most amazing organ in the world – it can remember memories, tunes, paint pictures, speak, move, work out maths problems… oh man, it’s such a great thing!

      Ooooh, tricky one! I’ll be the first to admit I don’t understand the intricacies of the human brain. Besides, I usually think out loud (much to the amusement of my friends and family!) so this “not speaking” thing is new to me!
