Never lose your love for learning. The road to a science career is long and there will be many bumps along the way. There will days when you have to do things you find really boring or face a challenge that seems impossible to win. But as long as you keep trying and learning, nothing is impossible! Also keep an open mind for opportunities. There is no standard way to become a scientist. Some times you will have to out of the expected path to take the opportunity that suits you the best.

Never doubt yourself. Science can be tough and it can feel like you aren’t going anywhere but it’s all about knowing you are strong and intelligent and motivated. Always keep going. And keep looking into new things, learn about new fields because you might find your dream job you never knew you were looking for.

Stay nosy, stay curious. Don’t be disheartened when it doesn’t work or when other people try to make fun of you. Life is an amazing thing, so keep asking he Big 5 questions: what, where, when, why, how.
