Usually a degree in Forensic Science or something relevant/very similar. To get onto a degree course the standard route is A-levels and these should include at least one of the sciences, preferably Chemistry, but universities differ in their expectations. It may also be possible to become a Forensic Scientist via an unconventional route such as vocational training but I would expect the minimum requirements would still be A-levels. It all depends on which company you apply to and what sort of work you want to do; for example, crime scene investigators aren’t expected to have completed a degree.
