• Question: Does dry ice have water or is it completely dry?

      Dry Ice is amazing stuff. When you lower carbon dioxide down to minus 78 C, it forms solid CO2 so in answer to your question, it’s completely dry.
      But… When you store dry ice in a container, condensation can form around the container which will be frozen water. There is also a chance the air will come in contact with the dry ice and freeze the small amount of moisture contained in it (often the air around us has 50% humidity).

      But dry ice, pure dry ice, is just CO2 and contains no water.
