Unfortunately I don’t work with any animals, we do have some therapy dogs that come round to visit our patients to make them feel better. I couldn’t work in a job that was associated with animal cruelty because I am a big animal fan. I love seeing Alfie the pug when he comes round the wards, he always makes everyone smile!

Indirectly. I don’t work with them personally but many of the drugs that patients get have been tested on animals. It remains a very unfortunate thing but at present, there is simply no alternative

Nope. Not at all. I don’t test my samples on animals, I test them on glass microscope slides! The only hint of an animal in my department is the occasional visit from the friendly dogs who come in for a cuddle and to make us all feel better 🙂
