• Question: Do you travel a lot in your job? If so, where?

      I’d like to but I’m mostly based in Bath. This time of year, somewhere warm would be nice.

      As a PhD student, I travel to conferences to talk about my work with other scientists. My biggest conference trip so far is Japan for a week, which was an amazing trip! I hope to travel to the USA and continental Europe for future conferences too. 🙂

      Not at the moment as I have too many responsibilities but I hope to attend some international conferences in the future. I’ve been on a training course in Stansted so I have left Kent before, but I’m not sure you could regard that as significant travel! 😉
